Muhammad and Hucky bring over 40 years of experience in security and technology.
At age 21, Harlan "Hucky" Austin became mentee of legendary bodyguard Charles "Big Chick" Huntsberry. Austin served as an executive protector for Prince and later became Prince's Head of Security. He's protected a myriad of VIPs and executives and founded BodyguardCareers to help the next generation find their footing.
Harlan advised ClutchSOS when it was founded and joined to help expand its offerings to include executive protection.
Hucky ensures our clients gets the royal treatment as we adapt methods to go beyond traditional close protection.
Dr. Muhammad Abdurrahman, cofounded Clutch in response to safety threats on campus when he was teaching at the University of Minnesota. Joining with a journalist, he co-designed the ClutchSOS app with students, sexual assault crisis counselors, and security professionals.
Dr. Abdurrahman studied computer science at the University of Pennsylvania, founded tech company Reemo Health, authored two patents, and represented the University of Minnesota in the 2013 University Hacker Olympics. He holds a PhD in Linguistics from the University of Minnesota. He also advises Hill Capital and is a member of University of Minnesota's Business Advisory Group.
